Tamar is the fresh face from Israel who’s joining Maryland Hillel, and she’s absolutely thrilled to dive into all the amazing things UMD has to offer! She grew up in the charming town of Zichron Yaakov in the Israeli suburbs. Before heading to university, Tamar served in the army as a commander in the Marva program. Just this year, in 2023, she proudly graduated with her bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Communication from Hebrew University.
