Jewlicious Hillel is a new way to be Jewish on campus. It is not about ‘going through the motions’ or about what your mom wants you to do. It is about YOU exploring, investigating and celebrating Judaism on your terms. Jewlicious Hillel is an opportunity for you to gather with like-minded individuals and find new, creative ways to express your Jewishness, whether through music, yoga, film, food or just good times.
Jewlicious Hillel is all about unity across religious and ideological spectrums. It’s for those of us who hated Sunday school, and who haven’t seen Hebrew since our bat mitzvah. But, it is also for those of us who can’t eat enough gefilte fish and who secreetly dream of marrying a rabbi. Jewlicious Hillel is for all of us who are looking for meaningful community and an open space to explore just what it means to be Jew…licious!

Jewlicious Hillel is a new grass roots venture associated with the Jewlicious Festival and inspired by the irreverent nature of Jewlicious.com. It needs your help to come alive at UMD. Jewlicious Hillel need student activists to gather on a regular basis to plan and participate in activities and events and perhaps even attend the Jewlicious Festival near Los Angeles at the end of February. Please contact Tanya and Rabbi James for more information.
