At Maryland Hillel, we feel strongly that any Jewish student, alumni or community member should be able to worship and experience the High Holidays here – their way – on their terms – regardless of their ability to pay. Last year alone, we served 2,000 individuals! We’re proud to offer four distinct High Holiday services that are open to everyone simply because we believe it’s the right thing to do. You may choose from Orthodox, Conservative (Egalitarian), Reform and an Experiential Services. Each service will be lead by students, volunteers and Hillel’s educational staff.
In order to better accommodate you, we ask that all community members register for tickets, in advance. Please refer to this Schedule of Services for times and locations. Please note the location of your desired service as they all DO NOT take place at Hillel.
STUDENTS, Here are a list of additional resources for the High Holidays:
Click Here for Holiday Exemption Letters. Please note students should make appropriate arrangements with their professors prior to missing class. Please allow for 3-5 days for letter request to be processed and printed. The Exemption letters may be picked up at Hillel.
