Disaster Relief – Rebuilding a Community in New Orleans
Date: Spring March 17-24^th , 2013

It has been 7 years since Hurricane Katrina hit the city of New Orleans.  During the week you will take a critical look at the issues in education, race-relations and re-building that still exist in New Orleans post-Katrina.  Through site visits, volunteer projects and speakers, you will get a firsthand look at the issues that have plagued New Orleans for decades and became even more intensified since Katrina.  See how this city is working to rebuilding its houses and community.
